Words Will Bloom: A Generative, Outdoor Writing Workshop
See our “Words Will Bloom” event recap and photos here.
Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 2-3PM
Franklin Park Golf Clubhouse, 1 Circuit Drive, Dorchester (meet on the patio directly behind the clubhouse)
Masks and social distancing required.
Words Will Bloom description: Were there certain words that helped you find hope during the last year? Or words that felt weighted with uncertainty and grief? In this outdoor generative writing workshop we will examine the personal and the collective “pandemic lexicon” and use a collaborative activity to expand on our definitions. Together we will discover new meaning and metaphor to tell our stories. This workshop is free and open to all; no writing experience required. Paper and pens will be available and participants are also encouraged to bring their own. Public restrooms available on site. Please wear a mask and observe social distancing at all times during the workshop.
